How you can balance your tinnitus with Tai-Chi

According to a 2019 study, it has been proven that using Tai-Chi created a reduction in the severity of their tinnitus, suggesting that it may be useful for tinnitus patients.

Tinnitus can significantly affect the quality of life, as it can lead to fatigue, stress, sleep disturbances, concentration and memory problems, anxiety, depression and irritability. Fortunately, there are methods that can help eliminate, or at least reduce, the noise.

Since flare-ups are often caused by stress, relaxation techniques such as Tai Chi, Qigong, meditation and yoga are often recommended. Even 15 minutes of relaxation can boost your mood and hopefully lower the volume of your tinnitus. Also, make sure you get enough rest, as lack of sleep can make tinnitus worse.
